Iconic Vintage Christmas, Shiny 1919 and Bright Coffee Mug

My grandfather, Wardwell Jones left me, when he died, all his negatives from a life time of shooting film photographs from 1903- 1973. He bought me a camera when I was 7 and taught me how to use it, shoot, develop film and to print in a darkroom This is one from the massive collection. Some would say that the true magic of Christmas can be found in your family's Christmas tree: After all, a trimmed tree builds as many memories as the gifts that can be found underneath it. A hundred years ago, Christmas trees most closely resembled those of their Victorian origins—real candles were bound to the boughs with wire or clip-on hardware and lit for a soft glow. Armed with talent and a passion for varsity sports, she conquered Lake Highlands High School, lettering in five sports and even winning championships in the Women's World Soccer Championship in Xian, China. She ventured to the University of North Carolina on a full soccer scholarship before diving headfirst into the world of visual arts at PRATT Institute in NYC.
